Call today...  the fishing has been outstanding this spring!
If you head west over by Missoula, Montana you'll find one of our favorite rivers in the area, the Bitterroot.  Cutting down through the heavily vegetated and incredibly scenic Bitterroot Valley, the Bitterroot offers some fun floating on a medium sized river.  Fly fishing the Bitterroot can be excellent, especially with dry flies in the summer time.  This river offers an excellent mix of enjoyable floating and scenery with great dry fly action.

The first major bug hatch that occurs on the Bitterroot are Skwalas, which start to come in late March or April.  This hatch can provide some super fun dry fly fishing, as the fish are starting to come out of their winter laziness and are eager to eat!  Salmon Flies come to the Bitterroot Valley in June or July depending on the weather, along with their Golden Stone cousins and Green Drakes.  Come sit in one of our boats, slap a big ol' foam Salmon Fly a foot off the bank and HANG ON!

Hoppers start chirpin' and jumpin' in July and August, which provides a nice continuation of dry fly fishing on the Bitterroot for another month or so.
Fly fish the beautiful Bitterroot River with an experienced guide!
